Many customers do not understand the precautions when using a vacuum dryer. Proper use of a vacuum dryer can increase its service life. So, what should be noted when using a vacuum dryer?
1. The casing must be effectively grounded to ensure safe use.
2. The vacuum dryer should be used in an environment with a relative humidity of ≤ 85% RH, no corrosive gases, no strong vibration sources, and no strong electromagnetic fields present.
3. The vacuum dryer workshop does not have explosion-proof, anti-corrosion and other treatments. Items that are prone to natural, explosive or corrosive gases should not be placed for drying.
4. The vacuum pump cannot work for a long time, so when the vacuum degree reaches the requirement for drying the item, the vacuum valve should be closed first, and then the power supply of the vacuum pump should be turned off. When the vacuum degree is lower than the requirement for drying the item, the vacuum valve and power supply of the vacuum pump should be turned on to continue vacuuming, which can extend the service life of the vacuum pump.
5. If dry items are damp, it is advisable to add a filter between the vacuum box and the vacuum pump to prevent damp gases from entering the vacuum pump and causing it to malfunction.
6. If dried items become lightweight and small in size (in small particles) after drying, a barrier net should be added to the vacuum port in the working room to prevent damage to the vacuum pump (or solenoid valve) caused by the inhalation of dry materials.
7. After multiple uses, the vacuum dryer may not be able to evacuate. In this case, the door seal should be replaced or the distance of the door latch on the box should be adjusted to solve the problem. When the drying temperature of the vacuum box is higher than 200 ℃, slow air leakage will occur (except for 6050, 6050B, 6051, 6053). At this time, remove the cover plate behind the box and use an Allen wrench to loosen the heater base, replace the sealing ring or tighten the heater base to solve the problem.
If the rubber plug of the vent valve has difficulty rotating, it can be lubricated with an appropriate amount of grease inside. (such as Vaseline)
9. Except for maintenance, do not open the left box cover to avoid damaging the electrical control system.
10. The vacuum dryer should be kept clean regularly. The door glass should not be wiped with reactive chemical solutions, but should be wiped with a soft cotton cloth.
If the vacuum dryer is not used for a long time, wipe off the exposed plated parts and apply neutral grease to prevent corrosion. Cover them with a plastic film dust cover and place them in a dry room to prevent electrical components from being damaged by moisture and affecting use.
